Sewcure

Sewcure is a digital service that consists of analogue tools to help support the process of sorting loved one's clothes after they have passed away. The service as a ritual engages people to talk about the person they love with the aim to support and heal each other during a painful time.
Additionally, the service helps design keepsakes as per user requirements to mitigate the sense of loss.

Project overview

Sewcure's vision is to make a memorial ritual through reforming and recycling the clothes of a loved one into keepsakes to mitigate the pain of people. Unlike other keepsake companies or clothes disposal organisations, Sewcure found a way out to the conundrum of how to deal with the left clothes of the lost one and form a memorial ritual based on it to heal the bereaved. In order to alleviate the pain of losing, a ritual is established not just by sewing keepsakes, donating and selling, but by remembering the good times, advancing communication, and most importantly, spending time to support each other and share warmth.
